Hosting and Domains, Explained Simply
Starting a website? Learn what hosting and a domain name are, and what to check before you pay for anything.
The Two Basics

A domain name is your website’s address, like drobixshop.com. People type it in their browser to find you.
What is Web Hosting?
Hosting is the computer space where your website files live. Without hosting, your website cannot be seen online.
